Multi-Doctor "Doctor Who" Story Coming Soon
The Doctor and His Many Faces
The BBC has announced that a new multi-Doctor "Doctor Who" story is in the works. The story, which will be titled "The Power of the Doctor," will see the return of David Tennant, Matt Smith, and Peter Capaldi as the Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Doctors, respectively. The story will also feature Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor.
The Power of the Doctor
The story will be written by Chris Chibnall, who has been the show's lead writer and executive producer since 2018. Chibnall said that he was "thrilled" to be able to write a story that would bring together so many different Doctors.
"I've always been a fan of multi-Doctor stories," Chibnall said. "They're a great way to celebrate the show's history and to see how the different Doctors interact with each other."
The story will be broadcast on BBC One in the fall of 2023. It will be the first multi-Doctor story since "The Day of the Doctor," which aired in 2013 to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary.
